Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Q. I have advertised with in the past, how do I see my old jobs?

We launched our new jobs board platform in September 2015 and took all your old jobs with us. To see them please follow the below instructions:

  • Log in to your employer account:
  • Select 'Your jobs' along the top level navigation bar
  • Change the status search to 'Expired' and click the filter button
  • You will then be able to see the old jobs. Please note that the views and applications that these jobs had will not have migrated over. All statistics for the job listings will be fresh from 3rd September 2015 and onwards.

Q. Aggregators and how they work?

As a jobs board platform, it is our job to push your job vacancies to the forefront of active jobseekers that is why we work with aggregators. A job aggregator is essentially a search engine, like Google, but specifically designed for online job listings.

This means that we will distribute your jobs to help reach a wider audience and therefore generate a higher application rate.

Your jobs are posted on our site <>. We then feed our jobs to some of the industry’s top aggregators. Jobseekers may choose to search jobs on direct or they may wish to search jobs on an aggregators site. If your role is found on an aggregators site, when the jobseeker clicks to “apply”, they will be re-directed to to apply via the application process you require.

The aggregators we work with are:

  • Recruitcs
  • Adunza
  • Indeed
  • Jobg8

Q. How do I access the CV database?

First off you need to contact the team on 01273 651100| to purchase access to the site. Then you will need to log into your employer dashboard account and click on the ‘CV Search’ button. Then you can use our simple search filters, which include locations and keywords, to find your perfect candidate. Once you have found a CV that you want to download, you simply click on it and then click the button ‘Unlock this CV’. Unlocking the CV means you will have access to the full CV.

Q. What are filtering questions?

Filtering questions are set by the employers advertising their job vacancies to help filter out unsuitable applicants. As an employer you may have particular requirements for your job vacancies. An example could be that your vacancy requires the applicant to have a full UK driving licence.
Employers can then set a filtering question; do you have a full UK driving licence?

If the jobseeker answers incorrectly, the employer will not be notified with their application.

Q. How do I set filtering questions for my job vacancy?

Firstly, you will need to ask the team to give you access and permission to set filtering questions. There is an additional charge to have this benefit added to your employer account.

After you have completed your job listing details, you will see the option to add filter questions to that job vacancy. You can set up to 5 filtering questions. These questions will be added to the job application form.
